Great location in the heart of the city. Spacious and well-equipped with essential amenities. Dog-friendly with a courtyard for pets. Good shower and two toilets available
Needs some decorating in the bedrooms. Furniture arrangement in the front room could be improved

My recent stay at Haggerlythe in Whitby was fantastic. The location was amazing, right in the heart of old Whitby. It was great to be able to explore the area without needing a car. The space inside the property was really good, and it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I was pleased to find essentials like coffee, tea, sugar, hand soap, washing liquid. The shower was excellent and there were two toilets, which was convenient. I also appreciated that it was a dog-friendly property and that dog bowls were provided. The back courtyard was suitable for my small dog, although it could benefit from some improvements like getting rid of the wheelie bin, adding plants and color, and replacing the worn-out table and chairs.

Some minor repairs and maintenance issues were overlooked, which gave the impression that the property was not well-maintained.

Stayed at this place, what a dump! Cobwebs, dog hair in the drain, filthy bedside tables. But hey, great location and dog-friendly.
Just minor things, like the wallpaper hanging off and staircase that could kill you. But who needs blinds or a clean yard anyway?

The place itself is lovely and cosy, just what cottages in the area should be like! The kitchen was fantastic, equipped with everything we needed. The shower room was excellent with a nice powerful shower. The location was amazing, right in the heart of the town, making it easy for us to explore without needing a car. We also loved that it was a dog-friendly property and they even provided dog bowls.
There were a few areas that needed some attention. The cleanliness could have been better, as we noticed cobwebs around and some areas that were a bit dirty.
